Like many other companies out there, Blizzard is about to capitalize on your nostalgia. However unlike the competition, they are dropping a nice little present before asking you to pay for a remaster version of their classic RTS Starcraft.

Blizzard will be dropping one last patch for the original Starcraft/Brood War expansion. If you can get you hands on a copy of the original disks, Patch 1.18 will remove the need for CD keys allowing you to play the game for free. If you are late to the game, here a chance to experience the classic from 1998. If you want a bit of a graphical boost, consider the remastered edition that they just announced.
